i have grit because even though i do not want to come to school i still make effort to come to class everyday. the only reason i come to school is for my daughter. if it wasn't for her i would have dropped out along time ago. i am interested in developing my grit so that way i can become successful in life and give my daughter and future son/daughter a  better life then i have. i plan to finish high school n go to medical school.

if i can change a characteristic as a student it would be me being lazy . I'm not into school work and i don't try as hard as i should to try to complete my work and pass my tests. i need to become more hardworking.

to me failure looks like someone who drops out of school and doesn't look for a job and goes around being people for their hard working money. for example i was on the train yesterday and this guy was begging for money so he can buy enfimil for his babies .

i believe that we shouldn't have to take regents exams in order to graduate. i think thats the reason why a lot of people don't finish school because they can't pass the regents exam like me. i believe the d.o.e is doing this purposely because they don't want anyone to succeed in life and get good paying jobs because they want to keep all the money to them selfs.

 We are born smart or dumb, and there is nothing we can do about it?
i both agreed an disagreed because when your born you don't know anything you pick up things from other people and learn how to do things. thats why its important to go to school because you can learn things

i think i need to do better for this class. i come everyday but i don't get enough work completed. i need to focus more and get my work completed so i can get the credit for this class.
